United Parcel acquired TNT still needs regulatory approval in China and EU

According to foreign media's latest, United Parcel TNT acquisition time by the Holland financial market authority was extended to February 18, 2013, to set aside time for China and the EU regulatory approval.

The two operators have said: to complete the acquisition, UPS also subject to approval by the European Union and the Chinese Ministry of commerce the necessary approval and competition license test. Other countries' respective competition authorities, including Brazil, Russia, Turkey and Australia, have approved the acquisition, TNT and united parcel in these countries with higher combined market share.

United Parcel Service and TNT for deadline ( 2013 February) to obtain all regulatory approvals are full of confidence, the European Union has set up a temporary deadline ( 2013 January) to reach a decision.
