UPU the establishment of the first carbon compensation fund

Held in the near future the UPU Postal Operations Council annual meeting, France, Ireland, Senegal, Switzerland, Thailand, Togo, Ecuador, Finland, Costa Rica and other countries postal operators, first carbon compensation fund jointly established the global postal industry -- post carbon fund TM.

After 4 years of feasibility studies and repeatedly consult the national postal, international organizations, funding agency's opinion, the fund as part of the UPU Working Group on sustainable development was formally established.
The establishment of the fund marks the funds into the trial stage. The main work includes: looking for the source of funds for compensation, financing and training on behalf of fund post, selection of carbon compensation experts to guide the whole project implementation, and can determine the project.
