The Irish Post said recently, postal future dialogue with the government. Prior to this, government ministers slammed Irish postmaster Association (IPU) walking post office closure plan, resulting in unnecessary pain to the postal customers. The Irish communications, energy and natural resources minister Pat Rabbitte said, IPU has "high-profile" involved in the protests, and strongly opposed the closing of the post office. But the government has not closed the post office plan. Pat Rabbitte points out, although the IPU has agreed to between 2006-2010 closure of 197 post office, but after 2010, the actual only 17 was closed. Since 2010, the postmaster general, who has enjoyed a relatively stable business and revenue growth. IPU now launched these protests puzzling, but also to the surrounding community, especially the elderly brings unnecessary and pressure. The social policy committee is studying how to use the Irish government post office network, and to what extent by central and local governments through the postal service for the public.
