DHL will in 2014 raised the German part of mail and parcel service fee

DHL announced recently, the company in 2014 will rise in the German part of mail and parcel service fees, to offset the rising costs.
From January 1, 2014 onwards, the domestic 20g standard letters within business rates will rise 2 cents, to 0.60 euros, the other major mail business rates remain unchanged. Weight is 1-2kg international large letters will rise 10 cents, to 17 euros, other international mail business rates remain unchanged. This is the DHL for two consecutive years to fine tune the standard mail service fee.
Basic business rates from 2014 onwards will be raised to 0.58 euros from 0.55 euros. After 15 years, the basic service fee has not been adjusted.
In addition, unchanged in the post office accepts the weight within 2kg package service fees, other domestic package business tariff will increase 9 euro cents, international parcel service tariff changes will be in the 0.99 euros and 1.99 euros.
DHL says, to a certain extent, the tariff changes reflect a downturn in the market environment cost pressure. In recent years, the company has been to enhance operational efficiency, avoid excessive raised tariffs.
Although the DHL has made the tariff adjustment plan, but still need to post regulators -- the Federal Network Agency approval.
