Royal Mail half year pre tax profits of £ 233000000

In November 27th, Royal Mail announced, 2014 half of this year, pre tax profit is two times more than the same period last year.
The Royal Mail issued its first earnings report since October this year. In the first half of the fiscal year ended September 29th, the company reported a pre tax profit of 233000000 pounds ($375400000), and the same period last year for 94000000 pounds. In addition, revenue over the same period last year increased by 38%, to 4520000000 pounds. Excluding special items, the Royal Mail adjusted pretax profit of £ 1580000000 over the same period last year, significantly exceeded 113000000 pounds.
