New Zealand Post will be a Wednesday day delivery service in parts of the city

Recently, the government of New Zealand has approved New Zealand Post reduced delivery service, a week at least three day delivery service on the part of the city, and plan to start in 2015 July.
The New Zealand Minister of communications and information technology Amy Adams said, the government has approved the New Zealand Post reduced service delivery plan, to help them cope with letters, business volume decline.
But reduced service delivery area is limited to the city area, rural areas still use the original delivery standards, a Friday day delivery. New Zealand Post priority mail service will continue to implement a Saturday a day delivery standard.
Amy Adams said Wednesday, a day of delivery is a new zealand post must meet minimum standards. In rural areas, New Zealand Post still needs to continue to maintain high delivery frequency. Three day delivery minimum delivery standard applies only to basic or standard mail service. Express mail, parcels and priority mail service is not applicable to this standard.
Future, New Zealand Post will continue to retain at least 880 postal outlets. Among them, at least 240 outlets will provide services to help.
