UPU signed an agreement with the UPAEP power in Latin America postal service

Recently, the UPU and responsible for America, Spain and Portugal Postal Union UPAEP signed the agreement, promised to help the development of postal services in Latin america.
The agreement to launch a UPU development plans for the area, will help the postal enterprises in the implementation of quality control measures and security solutions, to improve its service.
The UPU said, will work to promote the regional government to give priority to the development of the national postal service, and adopt relevant strategies, promoting regional development, such as electronic commerce. Postal reform should focus on improving the efficiency of the national postal operators. The agency is the local culture of postal reform of professional talents, to help implement the UPU plan.
Letters in Latin America in the 2006-2011 years of relatively slow growth, international business declined nearly 12%. However, although the international parcel service decreased by 1%, its domestic package business volume increased by 26%.
The UPU said, successful trade measures have contributed to the development of electronic commerce and parcel service, but now the key is to strengthen the parcel service.
