Lome Togo aviation cargo hub will be opened in September

According to media reports, Ethiopia's air cargo company (Ethiopian Cargo) ASKY and the Africa regional airlines cooperation, establishing freight center in Togo Lome, the new project aims to improve the export situation of West African goods -- especially high value or perishable goods. The center is scheduled to open by September.
Ethiopia air cargo fleet has 6 dedicated freighter, composed of 2 Boeing 757-260F, 2 777-200LR and 2 MD-11F.
ASKY Airlines is headquartered in Lome Togo, there are 3 737-700NG and 3 Q400 Bombardier NextGen turboprop aircraft operating fleet. 1 Boeing 737-400F aircraft order is expected to arrive soon after, will assist the company in the new hub of cargo transportation.
Ethiopia Airlines CEO said, now the company will make the cooperation extended to freight business. Africa's sustained and rapid economic development, the company will expand freight airline network, provide better service for Africa, let more countries and more people can use air freight.
