GeoPost bought DTDC shares to expand business in India

France express parcel company GeoPost recently to the price of 20000000 euros, the acquisition of the India package delivery company DTDC Courier & Cargo 39.5% stock, entered the India market.
This strategic investment will enhance the status of GeoPost in India. Previously, the company operates the small joint venture, acquisition will enable business and DTDC is connected to the global market.
DTDC executive director Abhishek Chakraborty says, GeoPost bought 39.5% shares of Capital DTDC from Reliance. The company is India's leading enterprise Antil Ambani private equity investment business, the total purchase price of 1580000000 rupees. The future, GeoPost will provide further investments until the company, owns 42% of the shares.
DTDC as the India express and parcel delivery ranked fifteenth in the market, the 2012 fiscal year sales amounted to 4250000000 rupees, net profit amounted to 200000000 rupees. The company has more than 300 employees and 6000 franchisees, special purchases for the Spring Festival transport volume of 140000000. In 2013, the company has established a new e-commerce logistics company DotZot, and acquired the ownership of local logistics company.
