PostEurop says its environmental commitment

Recently, the European public postal operator Organization (PostEurop) with senior officials of the European Commission in the Belgian Brussels held talks and signed a statement, that European postal industry commitment to environmental protection.
Global trade union organization UNI has signed a joint agreement an environmental problem (CSR), as the European social interview Committee (SDC) cooperation agreement with the postal sector.
PostEurop represents 52 postal operators, to provide services for customers all over Europe 800000000. PostEurop said, the postal operators and the Union will work together, committed to sustainable development.
The agreement is the result of the survey of European social interview Committee in 2011 and 2012 based on the reduction method, to have a negative impact on the environment. European postal industry promised to take a series of measures, such as the development of electric vehicles, improve building energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources (such as wind or hydroelectric power), to fulfill the environmental commitment.
